France sees a very deep partial — 90%+ in the southwest, ~90% in Paris.

France is exceptionally well placed for the 2026 partial. The southwest — Biarritz, Toulouse, Bordeaux — comes within a couple of hundred kilometres of totality and will see over 95% of the Sun covered. Paris gets about 90%, and even northern France sees a striking crescent.
