These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SpaceWeatherTracker.com (the "Site"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Use of the Site

The Site is provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial informational use. You agree not to:

  • Copy, scrape, or systematically download our editorial content without written permission.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Site's servers, APIs, or networks.
  • Submit false sighting reports, spam, or unlawful content.
  • Use the Site to violate any applicable law or the rights of any third party.

2. No warranty on space weather data

Space weather forecasts and aurora visibility estimates on this Site are derived from public third-party data (NOAA SWPC, NASA, and others) plus our own models. They are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Do not rely on this Site for aviation, satellite operations, power-grid decisions, or any safety-critical use. For operational forecasts consult NOAA SWPC directly.

3. Intellectual property

Original text, graphics, illustrations, and code on this Site are © 2025–2026 Adrienne Bemis, all rights reserved, unless otherwise noted. Third-party data (NOAA, NASA imagery) remains the property of its respective sources and is used under public-domain or fair-use terms. You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link back.

4. User submissions

By submitting a sighting report, photo, comment, or contact-form message, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content on the Site. You represent that you own or have permission to submit the content.

5. Advertising

The Site displays advertising through Google AdSense and may include affiliate links. We do not endorse advertisers and are not responsible for their products, services, or content.

6. Third-party links

Links to external sites (NOAA, NASA, YouTube webcams, etc.) are provided for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for the content or practices of any linked site.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SpaceWeatherTracker.com and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or reliance on any information provided here.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
